Steven attended the General Convention of the Episcopal Church, June 24-28, 2015, in Salt Lake City. He was there to meet with hundreds of Red Moon Publications fans!

As a Native American elder, Steven's writings have a special resonance with other Native people. Here he and his wife, Susan, whose art work is featured on the covers of his books, are seen with friends from the Navajo Nation where his spiritual insights are highly regarded.

As a spiritual resource, Steven's meditations are ideal for use in retreats, bible studies, and worship. Here he is with two Sisters from the Order of St. Helena.

Red Moon Publications books are often used to bring a sense of peace and reconciliation into the world. Here Steven is sharing the meditations with the Episcopal Peace Fellowship.

Women from around the world find deep meaning and support from the Red Moon Publications ministry. Steven is standing in the booth of the Episcopal Women's Caucus, a wonderful organization that sponsored his stay at the convention.

Red Moon Publications partners with other publishers of spiritual resources. Steven is seen at the Forward Movement booth. He wrote his booklet, GOOD NEWS, A SCRIPTURAL PATH TO RECONCILIATION, for them.

On April 25, 2013, the Full Circle Bookstore in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, hosted a festive book signing for Steve's new book,
CLOUD WALKING.

Steve spoke to those who had gathered, saying that he felt connected to each and every person who either reads his daily meditations or purchases our Red Moon collection of his writings. "I know you," he said, "because I believe what I write speaks for all of us. It speaks to our shared condition as human beings seeking a spiritual way to live. It is our story, yours and mine, and through it we will always be connected."

It truly was a special moment. The music was great. The people were happy. And many folks shared with Steve stories of how much our books mean to them. Two fans of Steven's meditations from England were on hand to get their signed copies of CLOUD WALKING. Red Moon Publications is known in many countries around the world!

As you will see from the pictures of that event, it was a joyous celebration. In fact, it was something of an anniversary celebration because it was exactly one year earlier, on April 25, 2012, that Red Moon Publications officially came into being with the publication of Steven's first book, HOPE AS OLD AS FIRE.

Thank you, Full Circle for your continued support, and thank you to the scores of people who turned out to support the growing ministry of Red Moon Publications!

Bishop Charleston at Convention Indianapolis, Indiana

July 6, 2012, Bishop Charleston was invited to sign copies of his book, HOPE AS OLD AS FIRE, at the General Convention of the Episcopal Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the booth for the Indigenous Theological Training Institute (ITTI). This is a great testimony to how HOPE AS OLD AS FIRE is being read throughout the church!

Once every three years, Episcopalians gather in one of the largest church conventions in the United States. This year, on July 6, Red Moon Publications was honored to have Bishop Steven Charleston invited to sign his book, HOPE AS OLD AS FIRE, at the 77th such convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Hosted by the Native American community of the Indigenous Theological Training Institute (ITTI), Bishop Charleston experienced just how many people are responding to his writing as he signed copy after copy of his book.

Please enjoy the "Hope As Old As Fire" slide show of the book signing. The final photo in the slide show is Bishop Charleston's good friend, Barbara Harris, the first woman to become a bishop in the church. "She was gracious enough to attend my book signing and wish me well. Thanks to everyone who made the signing such a great success!"

It was another wonderful event for Red Moon Publications and we are grateful to everyone who made it possible!
